Ability: Something a participant knows how to do.
Authority: Permission, within a context, to exercise an ability or affect a resource.
Capability: A testable claim that a subject can produce outcomes under conditions while preserving obligations.
Collaboration: Participants occupying roles and exchanging messages to achieve an outcome.
Constitution: The enduring principles and decision criteria that an implementation must satisfy.
Evidence: A test, benchmark, check, observation, or example bearing on a claim.
Image: A resumable state of a live object environment; in System-128, a workspace rather than the whole universe.
Intent: Human-supplied meaning that cannot be reliably derived from implementation: why something exists and which outcomes matter.
Model: A persistent representation that owns domain meaning independently of any single view or tool.
Protocol: A published semantic contract through which objects request abilities and express obligations.
Protocol family: A coherent set of related protocols supporting a system or domain concern.
Realization: Resolving a live project model into an active or packaged system under stated constraints.
Responsibility: An obligation a participant accepts within a collaboration.
Role: A named composition of abilities, responsibilities, and authority within a collaboration.
Subsystem: A replaceable collaboration implementing one or more published protocol families.
Tool: A live composition of roles, models, and views organized around a person’s purpose.
Workspace: A situated live configuration of references, active objects, tools, views, policies, and history.
